Ph.Jeannette Gjurić, MD , is a specialist in anesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive care medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and well-aging medicine.

Jeannette Gjurić was born in 1961 in Zagreb, where she studied and graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1986. Immediately after graduating, she went to Germany to continue her education. She specialized in anesthesiology in Nuremberg, and then, with colleagues, founded a private center for day surgery and pain therapy near Nuremberg.

She improved her knowledge in Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and on several occasions in China.

She specialized in acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy, and later European phytotherapy for various types of pain, headaches, digestive disorders, allergies, menstrual problems, sleep disorders, and in preparing pregnant women for childbirth. During her training, she paid special attention to natural well-aging medicine.

During her specialization, she began training in traditional Chinese medicine in Munich with Dr. Hempen and Prof. Porkert, world-renowned experts in the field and pioneers of Chinese medicine in Europe.

She founded the Sinteza polyclinic and was the owner and anesthesiologist at the polyclinic for many years.

As of the summer of 2022, she has decided to retire from the Sinteza polyclinic and devote herself exclusively to her long-standing desire to have her own center that deals with a different approach to health and beauty.

The 5 Elements concept combines her love of Western and functional medicine with traditional Chinese medicine and the longevity concept of living.
